Tesla Roadster har linjer som kan bringer tankene i retning av fyrrige biler med bensinmotor. Den akselererer fra 0 til 100 km/t på 4 sekunder og det butter ikke før ved 220. Imidlertid er dette en el-bil som ifølge Tesla skal kunne klare 400 km på hver oppladning.
